Agreed. The WHOIS actually came up with useful info, as it is his cell phone number. Not choosing to answer it, was kinda shity on his part.

That setup will work out fine for you.

I was importing the same exact setup misterjung sells up until a couple months ago when business seemed to dry up but maybe i'll try it again sometime soon.. since the pricing keeps going down and down

I'd highly recommend getting a relay kit so that you protect your cars stock wiring during the ballasts initial startup and so that you don't have flickers and etc. from lack of reliable power avail through the H7 socket..

they can be bought here:

http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlight...re-harness.htm

If you don't, you may over long term (say 6 months to a year) be wearing out some electronics deeply within your electrical system, due to that initial load the ballasts pull.. and it will be a hassle to diagnose.

The 6000k hue is pretty functional, will look acura tl'ish on your car, maybe a little lighter.

have fun, post pics

Thanks for the insight, Tradr.

I didn't even think about the initial load the ballasts will pull, good call.

I sure as hell hope this guy is legit. I've got 1 email back from him, nothing more. Still no product. The longer this takes, the less of a warm fuzzy I've got. I'm about ready to email him again (seeing as how in the last, and only email from him he stated he'd get back to me ASAP on the order status. That was last night around 10 EST.)

It's only wednesday, I hope it will work out. I doubt that USPS does any work on weekends, so count your days from monday on.
I feel like buying something to feel better about myself . Not sure if it's gonna be HID, don't really need them, but who knows...

Talking Update No. 2

Looks like a legit deal after all.....

Misterjung (Alan,) emailed me twice early this morning. One to explain he was out of town (very apologetic,) the other with a USPS tracking number.

HID kit was shipped on Tue the 19th, so I should see them either today, or tomorrow. I was starting to sweat this one....

I'll post a nice pic of the kit as soon as it arrives.

One of the many things over the years I've learned. I have no problem waiting on something I know I'll recieve. This transaction just gave me an uneasy feeling in the begining. I'm usually very cautious when it comes to spending money over the internet. Although his web site / eBay auctions / eBay feedback all looked very professional, the "no response from multiple emails" thing was a bit disturbing.

Oh well, all's good. I really am looking forward to true HID's. I had them on my 01 CL Type S, and loved them. These should prove to be a worthwhile upgrade for my 40 year old eyes!!

Bulb life depends on bulb quality which varies depending on manufacturer but an OEM quality H.I.D. bulb is supposed to last 2000-3000 hours, so a good 3-5 years of use. Alot of aftermarket stuff is not as good as this and develops hairline cracks over time and fails/flickers well before that time.

Thumbs down

Just to let everyone know... I've taken the HID bulbs back out. Misterjung's bulb fitment leaves something to be desired (actually I just dislike H7 bulb / housing fitment, period.) can't seem to get them adjusted correctly (i.e. they don't fit worth ****.)

I left the ballasts in place just in case I either: 1. change my mind, 2. find some HID bulbs in H7 format that actually fit.

The ballasts are very nice, that I must admit. I've also not had much luck with emails to service@misterjung.com That in itself is pissing me off.

Will keep you all posted.

Was the problem with the bulb fitting inside the housing or the beam pattern?
