Tips and advice on this

Ok, I have a set of Alpine speakers for the rear, 6"x 9". i dont have the front 6" x 8" 's yet b/c i got the rear for xmas. what i wanted to know is that, do i, or should I also get the same alpines for the front, 6" x 8" but same line from alpine? of should I just get a diff. brand. does it matter? should all the speakers be the same brand?

its not a REQUIREMENT....but its a very good idea to get the same brand/line/series of speakers for your application....the speakers will sound similar and give you a better over all sound for your car.

Same brand unless the rears will be for fill only in that they will barely be audible.

Yep that was I, I love 5 1/4s clarity but I have never heard a 6 1/2 I liked as much as some 5 1/4s. Also 1 set of 6 1/2s have never packed enough mid bass for me which is why I am doing similar to Blue and I will be doing dual 6 1/2s in each door or a single 8" mid per door or a single 8" sub hidden up front by the computer.
