Is there any interest in Reverse Guages

guages or covers?
Is this a real set of total guages you are discussing getting made, or a set of the infamous break the needles covers? I would be willing to pay the higher dollars and get a full set myself rather than get the opprotunity to break needles again!

Maybe they are "reverse" because the tach is on the left and the temp and gas on the right?
Is this a pic from a Pro? I see an "Si" logo - ain't dat a Civic Si?
What kind of prices are we looking at?

I agree. I'll be in depending on the specifics of what they are exactly.
That is Si reverse guages as he's talking about getting them made for our Pro's. Thus why he doesn't have a pic of them on a Pro yet.

I'd be down on these.
I believe they are called "Reverse Guages" because the cover itself is not glowing like indiglo guages, where the actually lettering is Black.
This is much better on the eyes IMO. But I'm surely be down on these.. they look VERY sharp. All depends on cost as well.

got some info...
I went to their website www.koolglo.com
Here is the actual link for the Reverse Guages.
Retail cost is $89.95, and they ARE covers...

If they are covers, that means the color will not change. I am looking into replacing the amber bulbs, but haven't gotten to it just yet.
Don't know how well those covers will fly - too many horror stories of broken needles trying to change the gauge faces.

I've had the cluster out of the car already, and the bulbs were very easy to get to - they are in 1/4 turn-type sockets in the back of the cluster - no problems.
I'm not sure where to find new bulbs, and I can't remember whether the bulbs were clear with amber "sleeves" or just amber themselves. I sent the part #s of the bulbs (at least, the #s I could find in a service manual from a dealer) to an online place, but haven't heard anything back yet.
I've also got the #s for the HVAC control bulbs, but I haven't taken that unit out of the car - yet.
Once I get my new deck I plan on doing some interior painting. At that point I will see what I can find out about the bulbs, as I will have everything out of the car.
If you get any info or bulbs, post it!!
