i believe my PIAA xtreme whites are much brighter than stock and they look a hell of a lot better. i know PIAA is expensive and may not be the best bang for the buck, but they are quality products. i am happy with my bulbs.

A buddy of mine with a 2001 Stang went through 4 wiring harnesses at about $50 a pop because he used higher wattage bulbs. THey simply draw too much current for the wires to handle, and they physically melt.

I've been reading ya'll forums on the Light bulbs and it started to make me think. I just recently bought these H4 Nokya Artic White Pro Halogen bulbs 90/100w. Now were these a good buy or am I asking for an future electrical problem.???

The JDM Familia SP20 has standard HID lighting, but the beam pattern is different from here, because JDM lighting puts more light on the left side of the road, instead of the right, since their roads are different from ours and if we use it her, it will blind oncoming traffic.

Is there way to modify this housing somehow, so it puts more light on the right? And is this housing identical to the one on the P5's?, except for the different left/right light output bias? If so,

I'm thinking of just installing an aftermarket kit in the housing, since the lighting effect would be very similar to the SP20 corrected for the bias, and basically it was designed to accept HID lighting. Have to check with local laws first though.

But I did see a P5 with HID once, and it looked OEM, meaning no glare to oncoming traffic, and very evenly spread beam pattern putting alot of light on the ground.

As for foul weather, yellow fog light bulbs will do fine.
