hey vkyolv does the pocket on that kit have holes in the back of it if so that would be a perfect place to mount the remote gain from my amp will that kit fit my 2002 protege dx and will the same harness work with mine what model number is it for the harness where the heck can i order it?

Yes it does have a few hole in the back. the kit model # is MA1537, and the wiring harness is MA03 Both from scosche.

I ordered mine over the phone, you can get their number from www.scosche.com

How clean was the install and does your stereo fit snug. Just a question because I do not like the metra I have because the Kenwood has that cage and it has nothing really to secure to.

The total cost was a bit more than going to circuit shitty or best buy. I believe I paid about $34 for the harness,the kit and shipping. But I truely feel this is the best altenative to using a pocket kit. The install was very easy and it looks super clean with the stereo installed. There are NO gaps like with the other pocket kits, and it pretty much fits flush with the dash.

Before I had the metra and I would get rattles from the pocket and head unit. Now it is real snug.
