Spoiler Rattling

I find the only thing that rattles like crazy on my car is the spoiler, would takeing off the spoler and putting like pieces of rubber whre it attaches to the window help to lower the rattling? cuz if i got the spoiler rattle fixed, all u would here was bass thump and not rattle...

Peace

I used weather stripping and it worked well. But there will still be more rattles. Not as bad as the spoiler mind you.

This might sound dumb, but how is the spoiler taken off?

mine rattles a bit too....with specific music playing...but I can only hear it if I am OUTSIDE the car...so big deal....I am SUPPOSED to be INSIDE the car! lol

anyway....whem my spoiler does rattle...its not because its hard mounted to the deck so much...but our spoiler is made of TWO PIECES....the part that is painted the color of your car...and the black piece that houses the third light....and its those two pieces vibrating TOGETHER that is making the rattle....you need to put something in there to isolate them from one another....and the rattle goes away.

There are 4 bolts on the underside. You'll need a 10mm deep drive to get them. Then some clips that you just pull out.

Nuke~The main rattle is from the spoiler agains the body, after weatherstripping it the rattle from the spoiler was 95% eliminated.

Must be lucky then. Speaking of rattles, I've got a monster one sometimes. More of a vibration, it'll keep vibrating 1-2 seconds after I turn the music off sometimes. Can't figure out what it is. Sounds like it's the firewall or roof or something. Can be clearly heard from the inside. Then there's the rear side panels on the inside, other that that mine's pretty much rattle free...

The thing is it's not a rattle. It's a vibration, you can actually hear the metal vibrating. It sounds like it actually IS the firewall. Whatever it is it sure doesn't sould like something as simple as dynamat can fix it. My rear wiper will jump most of the time, and my fronts do sometime too.

You can't hear it untill you turn the music off. The way it keeps goin after it's off (for up to 2 seconds) makes me think it's a large piece of flat metal vibrating. I'm not going to worry about it now. Hell I haven't even had time to cleanly install my subs and such, I have wires all over the place right now. Do you think the roof would vibrate like that?
