Speaker Suggestions
Ok so my other thread(argh wtf) I thought I fixed hte problem but when i was tuning I only had the volume at 17 so it wasnt really that loud... But when I turned it up this morning it was distorted still(but it was clean distortion[does that exist?]) anyway...here are the brands I can choose from, I can get a discount at the local store since Ive botten everything from them...
Alpine
Kicker
Rockford Fosgate
Kenwood
Crossfire(they make speakers dont they)
Anyway So out of those brands what speakers should I get that around the same price as my Type R's ~$200-$250... I want new 6x9's and 5.25's or 6.5's....or if you read my other post and know what the problem could be, that would save me a bit of money and work... thanks again

First, don't buy anything until you get the speaker problem fixed completely - or you might just be wasting money.
Second, spending $200+ on speakers that will see nothing but deck power is not too smart. You do fine for much less money, and probably get something that is more designed for low-power applications.
Go figure out WHY your speakers sound bad, FIX it 100%, then consider your system goals before wasting a lot of dough.

I agree and the speakers you have under your name doesn't exist? If so, they should sound really good. The Type R's use silk dome tweeters which provide smooth transients. IMO, I think if anything, an amp would do the trick if properly installed without gains wide open.

if you were using Type S speakers then you would have more volume from head unit power, but since you are using Type R's you are underpowering them. It's much like Infinity speakers. I hear from a lot of people that the Kappas truly sound their best when powered by an amp and to get the Reference series if running off of head unit power. Even Alpine's entry level amps are good. They don't have to be the V12 and speaking of V12's, you may be able to find a MRVF304 4 channel V12 amp on Ebay. I see them a lot. Although I have SoundStream amps now, I love the Alpines too. I used Alpine in previous installs. I used it to run highs mainly and Kenwood and Fosgate for the lows. Good SQ amp (the Alpine). As for SoundStream, great amp, awsome amp, but way overpriced!!!

I know these speakers are not on your list, but they are in my opinon better than any of the speakers that you have listed. I listened to alot of speakers before I bought my utopia's. I really liked the JL 6.5 XR components. They have a metal tweeter with a surround to keep them from getting to harsh, but you still get great highs, and they have alot of settings on the crossovers, and plenty of midbass. They maybe a little more money than the ones that you have listed, but I think that you would be alot happier with them. (if you pay 200 for speakers and dont like them, then pay 300 for the ones you like that is 500) Save your money and get the ones that you like. So you will be happy. Plus they list that they only need 75 watts. (cheaper amp)
If you dont like JL you can look into adire audio's koda's (6.5 components with crossover) not sure what they are costing now, but they sound great for the price.
Alpine makes a higher dollar component set that sounds ok but it is a silk tweeter and I dont like the highs, they are weak.

Actualy thats mor ethen 90 days as both July and may have 31 days .
Either way I doubt they would screw with you for a few days.
Not hooking up the V-Drive is about the only reason I have EVER seen and recent alpine have an issue.
