Question Speaker dimensions

I don't feel like pulling apart my doors yet...
Does anyone know the speaker sizes in a 2003 Protege?
Also the woofer dimensions for the 2 rear doors...
Any modification advice would be thoughful too.
Chad

well its all up there in that stickied thread...but here goes anyway...

the speakers in the front doors are 5 X 7's not sure what exact size the tweets are, AND the speakers in the rear doors are 6's.

in the front doors you can substitute in 6 X 8's if you like...and the rear doors you can put in 6 1/2's or even 6 3/4's if you like with no problem...

the thing you have to watch out for is mounting depth in the front doors....you are limited there. with NO spacers being used, maintain your mounting depth at a max of 2 1/2 inches. other wise the window will smack your speaker when you roll them down.

the rear doors are no problem at all...as you have about 4 1/2 inches of mounting depth to play with .

Do you know the cut out diameters (length/width) for the front 6x8 holes? I'm looking to put a pair of 6.5"s in.
