Side Molding

Anyone try taking off the side molding on a Protege Sedan.

yeah, mine is coming off this week. its just glue. just pull it off.

Just curious, why would you want to remove molding? Then you would have to sand it and paint it. I know the molding is useless, as I have dings on the car where molding should protect it, but I guess it's a cosmetic thing for Mazdas and not to protect from ******** slinging their doors open in to other people's cars.

you won't have to sand and paint anything. its just like the rest of the door....painted.
