Is it just me, or does it seem that the protege seats have no side supports to hold you in on those hard turns? After riding in my SE-R for the past few weeks, ive started debating on getting racing seats for the p5.

I think the protege 5 seat is almost the same as the mp3 one (for the most part), but I must say I'm very impressed with the overall grip on me of my Protege MP3 drivers seat in EXTREMELY hard driving, no slipping off them imho.. the only thing I've noticed is eventually I'll need to tighten the nut on the right side of the seat which controls lateral support, the seatback is becoming a little more rocking back and forth back to front, and it shouldn't be my fault I don't weigh a ton

If you must get aftermarket seats and want something easy there's apparently tenzo-r (in the lower end of the aftermarket seating spectrum) seats with pre-made brackets for our cars (3rd gen Proteges).. or otherwise Sparco as well has brackets for our cars..

I rode in biknman's car with tenzo-r seats and they felt really low slung and grippy, not bad for some nice and cheap aftermarket seats.. the only thing is its a big compromise of function vs. overall comfort, for daily driving.. it's not for everyone!

Hehe, the Caprice is great, MY wonderful example however has a right front which decides to go 100% flat every couple weeks (even though the tire is brand new and has no nail in it), I think it's time for 1 junkyard rim or a set of wheels for it

before you go and get a new rim do this.....remove the tire....get a drill with a wire brush and clean the seating/sealing area of the bead really good....I bet its rusty.....then put a little wheel bearing grease on it when you put the tire back on.....

I had the same problem with the spare tire for my P/U and that solved the problem once and for all.

hehe sorry for making this post kinda off topic.

Sir Nuke, it's too late.. I ended up getting a junkyard wheel for $20, from a Monte Carlo..

It worked out much better.. it turns out the wheel I had on that kept going flat was leaking even with wirebrushing the inside (already tried that hehe), it was 7" wide, which was 1" wider than the 3 other wheels on the car, needless to say I got the appopriately sized wheel and the car is actually steering better (all the same width now).. it worked out well

215-70-15s have nice grip on an old caprice I highly recommend that size hehe.
