searching for a cheap amp

Just looking for opinions on some of the off brands out there, Soundstorm for one. I'd like some more power, but my budget is very very tight. A 4channel, no more than 100w/ch & I'm looking to spend no more than than $65.

I have a kicker impulse IX404 4 channel amp I'll sell to you for $65...the mother f-ers on ebay wanna bid and not pay on it....its 4x40 watts RMS bridgeable to 120x2..puts out good power...I just need to sell it because my wife doesnt like the extra power...let me know!

Thats EXACTLY what I'm lookin for! I uesd to have that exact same amp & was quite pleased with it. I'll let you know in the next day or 2, k?

Wish I had asked sooner!! I just need extra power for the speakers, the 20W RMS headunit isn't cutting it, I'm afraid I'll damage the speakers with distorsion.

Well, after multiple contact attemps I'm left to assume Macdaddy isn't interested in selling that amp to me after all. Moving on... does anybody have any true objective opinions about barain basement amps? I've actually heard some halfway decent things about soundstorm on some audiophile messageboards, that is to say that no one has had anything actually bad to say other than ,'they're cheap'. So what? For $45 for a 100w x 4ch, can it really be THAT bad? Does anyone here have any real experience with these, or another off brand amp (good or bad)?

Some of the less expensive installs that Ive had my hands in lately ,Ive used power acoustik stuff.Its pretty cheap compared to what I use . hope this helps.

I just bought a Kicker IX254 on ebay for $40. I'll let everyone know how things come out once I get 'er hooked up.
