saw a sweet conversion
Ok, I was reading and saw that someone mentioned putting BMW headlights on their scort. I went to the feoa.net website and searched, and found a pic of someone that did that conversion.
Holy crap that looks sweet. I want to go with a different front end to stand out more, and that looks like the one I am gonna go with.

its like the 3rd post in some gurus profile at the bottom. Anyone tried to do this on their pro/323?
I searched but found nothing on our site.

You need the 92-97 BMW 3 series headlamps. I am going to some junk yards monday to look to see if there are any. Probably not, but never hurts to try.
Since I got a 323, I need a protege hood, and Grille to make it work. The 323's headlamps angle down, and the hood dips down to make the grille shorter.

That's nice. Mazda may be affiliated with Ford now, but when they produced our generation of the Pros, Ford had nothing to do with any of it.
Ever wonder why the Escort GT has -our- engine in it, or why the Escorts look similar to our 1st gen Pros? ****, even Mercury took advantage of the situation.
Ford was sucking at the time for a econ car. Mazda provided an answer. Course, they used their extremely economical 1.9L engine that only produced 88hp in their LX and DX Escorts, but that's besides the point.

How would the wires have to be split?
I know since the Beamer lights are a 2 bulb system, you would have to split out the hi beam light wire and wire it to the other bulb. Any one know which is the low beam and wich is the high beam, or would my best bet be to use a volt meter and test for power on low beams, then on hi beams, and see which one it is?
Thanks for any answers.

IIRC, the low beam bulb wire is red/white at the headliamp, the black is ground, so the other (green maybe) is the high beam bulb.
You can use 2 relays per side (4 total) one for low beam and one for high beam. The rest is pretty simple.
