RUST on Roof - 2002 ES GT
There is some rust beginning to form on the front part of the roof of my car just above the windshield (possibly from a rock chip)...it is actually pitting a bit....NASTY
I called my dealership and they said the paint has a 5 year warranty and that I should bring it in....
I don't think I should settle for BONDO fix...what sort of fix should I expect if it is WARRANTY? A whole new roof?
Car is a 2002 Protege Sedan ES GT.

Yeah, you definately want a new roof, because once the metal has been exposed, the rust will always come back! Tell them to do a good job on this, and if they do crappy job, and this happens again, make them do it again, and again, and again.

yea definately do not settle for the bondo approach. get the whole roof re-done.
