rotors rotors rotors

I've run through a thousand places and did countless searches on big brake kits. I can't seem to find a set that will fit a p5 other than the stoptech ones. I just need 2 big rotors, maybe some caliper relocation kit to go with them, for the LOOKS. Stoptech only comes in as a whole kit, I can't purchase the rotors alone. I don't care about braking performance, I just want to show off Anyone knows something? I'd like them croll drilled + slotted if available. Thanks a bunch!

here is my suggestion.....

DO NOT MESS WITH YOUR BRAKES.....

unless you are going to do it right....

otherwise you are just asking to have your car wrapped around another car....or a pole....or a tree....or worse yet...hurt yourself or someone else.

and BTW Infiniti, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

I've been looking for them too!

I've been searching for rotors too, but it seems that with any modification to our/any cars, many people experience "problems" such as rotors sqeaking/squealing... I want them for the looks, preferably cross drilled and slotted. I know EBC makes them, but only for the front. A guy in this club has it, looks great, but like I said, it's only for the front. I'm waiting for the rears and I'll get the package! Check tirerack.com !Good luck and keep us posted

Sir Nuke,
Do you still think it's risky/dangerous to get just the rotors and ss brake lines from a reputable company, possibly EBC, Brembo, or PowerSlots? How much $ is decent for installation? Thanks

rishy? no......but why bother spending all the money to get bigger rotors....if you are not going to upgrade the calipers to give you the BEST breaking power.....not to mention? why are you actually upgrading the breaks in the first place? have you turbo'ed the car and now it has a lot more power? do you race it a lot on road courses and need the additional breaking capabilities? THOSE are the reasons I would upgrade my brakes....otherwise I think your money could be better spent. Thats all.

Power Slot has slotted rotors for the Protege with all disc brakes. You can get them through FM.

And just doing brakes for "looks" is kind of not really the reason for doing brakes. If you do it for looks, you probably aren't going to get all the parts to work together which isn't going to help out at in when you really need the brakes.

But that is just MHO...

If I am correct....

I think the EBC rotors are the same as far as dimentions when comparing to factory rotors, so... it should not affect the performance of the braking system overall too much, right?

NO NO NO Sir Nuke was saying why he thought upgrading the brakes to bigger, cross drilled rotors were pointless. I was just saying I would do it for looks.

Ractive makes cross drilled /slotted rotors for 3rd gen pro and all four brakes. Yep, all the way around. They look good too.

I saw it in there new 2003 catalog today.

I couldn't find it.

I looked up toucan.com and clicked Ractive section, but could not find cross drilled and slotted rotors for the P5.
