Repairing Glass scratches?

I just got my P5 tinted this weekend. I knew I had some scratches on my driver's side window - but now I realize they are on the OUTSIDE. And to think, I was blaming my lady for 3 months for doing it with her rings or bracelets when flicking a smoke out the window - oops - I was one apologizing **** this morning ).

Anyway, is there any known way to remove small scratches like this? There are three, I think - two little hairlines and one a little deeper than that. They are not horrible, but they annoy me.

Can I remove them myself somehow? Are there any professional services for this type of thing?

Bump...as I am looking for the same information. I found on the net that you can buy a kit (basically a polishing wheel and some jewelers polish), but all the glass shops I've talked to say it isn't possible. The website that did have the kit says that if your finger nail will catch on the scratch that it can't be repaired.

My scatches are on my windshield. $250cnd installed. I'll see how the summer goes, I might end up replacing it

Here's something you may need to know before attempting scratch removal. I'm bringing this site to your attention because there seem to be merchants selling glass sanding bits for electric drills, which is probably not the best way to go for the novice...

I found this site helpful for fixing my windshield crack.
