removing the pocket?

removing the pocket?

alright i need yall help really bad. i just got an indash clarion tv that is mainly just the monitor. i have a alpine 7893 headunit that is installed that i am going to run everything with. alright anyways well i am going to take the pocket out and dont know how? i am going to install the cd player where the pocket is at and install the tv above that headunit i was just wondering how to get to all that? do you have to remove the silverish trim that goes around the air vents , headunit, controls? how do you take that off? any help would be appreciated.

Get the deck out first - you might need removal tools to go in the holes on the sides of the Kenwood (you have the MP3, right?)

Once the deck is out, reach in and yank out the pocket - no sweat.

If you're not going to re-use the pocket, I know about ten thousand P5 owners who would kill for it (not me, I already have one ).
