Removing Aftermarket Stereo

Hey guys I know im probably putting this in wrong area but i saw more people on here than posting in audi equipment section, so my question is this im removing an aftermarket cd player from my car i got the front dash removed to get to it but i cant seem to get it out and suggestions?

damn.......do a search next time. You dont have to remove anything to get it out. There are side covers on the stereo face. Pop them off and then just use butterknives to slide the stereo forward.

if you pop the sidi panels off take 4 wire coat hangers cut the strait part off bend them in half and put them in the four holes oneach side of radio radio should release

or just use a pair of butterknives instead of trying to create a new tool.
