Rearview mirror problem

'03 P5 silver has the auto-dim wth temp rear view mirror.
My passenger sunvisor hits the mirror and often moves it.
The drivers side barely brshes it.
If I'm not watching my passenger AKA "Other 1/2" the visor will whack the mirror and move it.
Should I call the dealer?? of is this just a normal thing with our P5's.

After driving a '95 Subaru Impreza LX for 8 years, the newer car is alot different.
But the scooby does have several things I'll miss. other than AWD.
Better washer squirters and blades, the heater heated ALOT faster. Better stock tires. Easier to access some parts of the engine.
And for some reason I whack the speaker in the drivers door everytime I get out. Now there mud on/in it.

This whole off black interior is gonna take ALOT of getting used to, too much dust and dirt shows. Give me tan anyday.

I have had the problem with my stock mirror. The stock mirror has 2 pivoting places which allowed me to move the mirror down far enough that the visors didn't hit the mirror. I don't know if the auto dimming mirror is that much different.

At least stock mirror has 2 joints so it can be adjusted very much

bthom, I had the same problem and thought WTF? but then I looked at the mirror and the light came on and i went DUH!!!!

yes the mirror has two swivel joints to adjust its position.....

when I got my car there must have been a VERY tall person drive it or something and it was adjusted so that the "arm" was nearly horizontal.....

I just pulled the morror down...then tilted it back up to adjust it for my proper line of sight...and both visors missed it after that...

PIECE OF CAKE.
