Can any one tell me what the colours for positive and negative are on the stock wiring of the rear speakers of a 1st gen?

Haynes repair manual says:

REAR SPEAKER LH: W/L B/L
REAR SPEAKER RH: L/W L

The manual does not specify which one is positive or negative, but I looked up the 1995+ protege audio system page and the positive is on the right side... So, if you follow this logic, W/L and L/W are negatives...

I hope this helps at least a bit.

Thanks, I ended up guessing the same thing from my manual...it seems to have taken care of my problem.
