ready...and...FLAME THE NOOB

Cool deal, I am going to have to look for that. I never found the friggin' ghost switch!! I looked all over and believe me, I have been all under there when running power wires from battery to the trunk. It's supposed to be near trunk release isn't it? Do you konw and maybe it's just a single shock, but if it has a dual shock sensor? Knowing how factory products work, it is probably a single shock. The alarm remotes look a little like Code Alarm systems. They were big before going to court over some patents that were DEIs that Code Alarm used. The place that I worked at dropped their line of products and now just sells Alpine and DEI alarms.

Well after getting a kink in my neck, I found the ghost switch. Are you sure there is a shock sensor in there? My owner's manual says "optional" and from looking at the brain of the alarm there aren't any empty plug-ins which would indicate that there isn't one, however I looked up and down the steering wheel column and saw nothing that resembled a shock sensor. Where exactly is it located if there is one? Thanks!

mine was attached to my steering control arm with some black sticky ****. It fell off, now it has a big zip strap holding it in place. I had to turn my sensor up when I bought my car also.
