RCA outs on a factory head unit?

Just curious. Would like to add a 10" sub but dont want to get rid of the 6 disc cd changer. If i had my choice on the car I wouldnt have got it but it was the only 5 sp on the lot.

Sorry to say "NO"

There are no RCA pre-outs on the back of the stock head-unit. I wanted to keep the 6-disc changer too so I baught adapters that convert your speaker wires into RCA pre-outs. I then ran everything off the amp from there.

can you run your rear speakers and the subs off of those adapters? Or do you just have your front speakers and the sub?

I know it's a bit of a pian, but if you search through other threads in the Car Audio forum, you'll find all the info you need.

But, no you will still have all 4 speakers + the sub
