Thumbs down Problems with AT Grills

It's been a nightmare trying to get my grill from AT Grills. I know that other people have had problems as well. So you might want to custom make your own or wait for another manufacturer if you were considering getting one of these. I finally had to cancel my order.
The following are all the transactions that I have had with them.

November 21st - Ordered the grill from their website using paypal. Didn't receive any response from them.

November 30th - Sent an email asking them if they received my order. No response. But $70 was charged to my credit card on this date.

Dec 2nd - Sent another email.

Dec 3rd - Received an email from them saying that they shipped the grill and gave me a tracking number. Checked the tracking number, but it wasn't registered.

Dec 5th - Sent an email stating that the tracking number wasn't registered. Their response: "Ummmmmmm - I don't know what to tell you. Try waiting a few days."

Dec 7th - Still not registered. Sent them another email stating that it still wasn't registered. Their response: "Call Andrew at 514-425-5390 or 514-575-7772 for more info"

Dec 8th - 10th - Called everyday asking for Andrew (Long Distance) - but every time, he wasn't home.

Dec 11th - Sent an email telling them to cancel my order - Still no response, and no refund on my credit card yet.

I strongly urge everyone to reconsider doing business with these people.

Heard that the quality sucks too. No better than chicken wire you can buy in Lowes or Home Depot. So don't feel too bad

Its weird, when I got them in for the first time to sell, I was a little dissapointed. They where actually what I expected but not completely. So, I lowered the price on the ones I got & shipped them out to the people that had already ordered them. I had 1 person I suggested not getting them because I didnt feel they could put them on easily & I had 1 person say not to ship them after they heard someone complain about them on the group. I didnt plan on carrying them anymore. But, then I started getting e-mails from customers saying they loved them!! I installed them on my car & think they look great too. Since then I changed what the websites states & have doubled my sales & only 1 complaint since (except I guess Orangealpha...just dont remember getting a complaint from him??) & that complaint was from someone that didnt try to install them. Now, I've had a couple of people say they where sorta dissapointed with them when they got them in but once they put them on they changed their minds. My view on it, you have 2 type of modders. Ones that can do all the work themselves & go to Home Depot & buy stuff & take the time to cut it & fit it in there & those that would rather guy it already done & just put it on their car (or have someoen else do it). This grill cover isnt good for those of you that can do it yourself but if you arent that ingenuitive or dont have the time, this is a nice upgrade & looks good. But I will agree that if you have the ability to do it, you can do it yourself. Now, they have since started using a better mesh (which is the same mesh Wings West uses) and I've got some grills coming in with this mesh, so I assume this would be a bit better quality that "Home Depot Chicken Wire" (which I was actually not able to find when I went to Home Depot or Lowes).

If you go to Lowe's, Look for Gutterguard. Took me about 3 hours to make a piece for the top and bottom for my 99 ES. But as soon as I did it, everyone and their friggin sister started doing it in this town when they found out how I did it. I did it to be different, so I won't do it again.

My complain about my AT Grill is the quality of the material used. I E-mailed AT Grills about it and they said they were going to send me anotherone of better quality. This was over a month ago....still waiting.

So, for an extra 15.00, you can get it already cut. Guess that isnt too bad. Got the new grill in from AT today, much thicker & tougher. All together, a much better grill. Even weighs about half again as much. This is the same grill that Wings West uses.

AT Grills just go over the stock one. There are some companies that make billet grills that will replace the stock one but so far I haven't been able to find one for the P5
