Plastic roof rack covers

Hey wassup everybody,

I am new to this forum and i really find this forum very helpful and I hope i can get some help in knowing how to take the plastic roof rack covers off so it looks like there was never a roof rack there, i think they look so ugly that is just my opinion. I believe our P5 would look so much sharper with nothing there.

This has been covered before and it was decided that without taking the headliner out, its impossible. Someone said that the rack is welded/riveted or something into the roof....
