Cool Pimp Trunks!!!!!!!

I have a first gen....but I hear you are the guys for some fancy stereo and I.C.E. type mods!

Anyone have some sweet trunk mods they want to show off? I have decided to put all my energy into that for now.....I'm looking into a sweet system, some lights, flipflop [maybe], some motorized panels to hide amps and woofers. So, I need some ideas! Anyone got any [maybe some pics]?

Kinda like our first-gen friend from www.mazdaracer.com [mazdaspeedwest]:

http://www.mazdaracer.com/images/pro/amprack_subs.jpg

Only, I want to go more stealth and a really finished look with carpet and such....

Thanks!

witchdoktor's stuff is freaking insane....good work. i'm lookin to put in two 10" woofers, an amp, some tight blue lights, and have it all covered by some sort of carpeted paneling.

I like the stealth look MIA! I also like the neon and the Mazda symbol on top of that. I bet you score a lot of points in competitions! I should get some pics by this weekend of my set up. Not as sweet as yours, but it's pretty good for a first timer. I guess the worse part of it is the prefab box. The carpet is dark grey versus the black carpeted trunk. The amp rack has black carpet on it to match, but the box takes up some space and doesn't match. That will change in time. Last, the Alpine CD player has green lights which is contrast to the orange interior lights of the Protege. It doesn't look too bad though.

My setup is more about function than looks (P5 - and I use my hatch), but I'll throw up a pic or two anyway (don't mind the filthy cargo tray):

Don't be so modest HH, that enclosure you made is amazing! Those pictures don't do you justice. I saw the ones you posted previously and it rocks! I just spent a couple of hours today washing, waxing, and cleaning out the inside of my car getting it ready for pics once my subs come in. I just wish I had the tools to cut wood at various angles to redo my box so that I can save a little more trunk space.

What do you have a James Bond alarm system where the car blows up if you break the windows? I want to upgrade the stock alarm. I like the idea of internal Piezo sirens, a real siren versus the horn that sounds like "cheap, cheap, cheap" every time it goes off, and a shock sensor on top of that.
