Pillar Trim removal

Anyone know how to remove the "A", "B" and "C" Pillar Trim? I want to remove them have them smoothed and painted to match the silver trim pieces on the dash and shift console, But am scared of damaging them by trying to remove them without knowing what I'm doing? Anyone have some helpful hints?

A pillars just snap off--it's scary, but it works.

B pillars, you have to snap off the cover of the seatbelt height adjuster, then, remove that assembly, then they just snap off.

C pillars, I only loosened, not removed, but I think they're just snaps.

I removed my headliner and replaced my factory antenna with an XM antenna, so removing the C pillars wasn't necessary. I got a lot of good tips here: http://www.geocities.com/shareafile/pageone.htm

Good luck!

Don't want to take credit for something I didn't do--I don't remember whose site that is, I just found it while searching on the board trying to get info to help me install an XM antenna.

The main page of the site is here:

http://www.geocities.com/shareafile/index.html

And he has step-by-step instructions for the whole roof rail removal process. In the earlier message, I just linked to one specific page to answer the question about removing the pillar trim.

I don't see a name anywhere on the site, but I'm sure glad he took the time to do that, whoever he is!
