Pics of my new Custom Seats

Sorry the car is alittle dirty, its been snowing here.
I got my seats done today. They look great, just alittle cold and they need to tighten once it gets warmer here in Jersey.
If you are curious, the inserts and door panels are silver and the seat surrounds are dark charcoal grey.

The seats look great!

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing with my Protege5 ... how do you like the silver on charcoal colour scheme? The pictures do not do it justice I am sure! Where did you get them installed, and do you know the original manufacturer?

I appreciate your help. Your car looks amazing! Mine's Midnight Blue as well! If mine ever looks as nice as yours, I'll be extremely happy. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for all the compliments...

The colors are great together --- the DCG matches the stock interior PERFECTLY and the silver has a metallic look to it.

The leather is actually Katzkin, but the shop(local to my area) has it by the roll and custom cuts it.

I actually have a Katzkin sample chart sitting in front of me! I sent away for their information as I have been leaning heavily at getting a leather interior for my car. Was really "on the fence" about getting the two-tone with the silver ... thought it might be too much. And even after seeing your pictures, I am still not too sure.

Maybe just a classic Charcoal set with perforation and maybe contrast stitching ... ? I've been looking for images of other's interiors for a while, but have come up relatively empty-handed.

Is there any way that you could snap a few more pictures of your seats close-up? And your door inserts ... especially around the driver's side door handle and lock switch? I would greatly appreciate it and be forever in-debted to you!

Thanks again for the excellent images!

Ill snap some more pics for you...

I was originally going to do blue inserts but the blue doesnt match the exterior at all. The silver however, matches very well with the silver accents of the interior -- you will see what I mean when I snap a closeup of the door panel.

As for the headliner -- yea it looks close in the pics -- not as much in person -- but the headliner and pillars are being redone next -- you will just have to stay tuned for that one

Katzkin rules!

I was lucky, mine were done at the dealer before I purchased the car. Plus, I got the 'employee' discount off of the retail price!

The seats look great but I have a stupid question. Where did you get the seatbelt pads (powered by Mazda). All I have seen are powered by Honda. And did they have them in red.

The seats look great. I just about ordered the exact same seats, but I went with the Dove Gray for seat inserts and door panels. I got them when Katzkin ran their super bowl promotion. Free shipping, free embroidery, plus the total points scored in the game off, which meant $69.00 more off. I couldn't pass that up. I still have mine in the box. Going to have a local shop do the embroidery because Katzkin will only do the Protege5 emblem for Mazda dealerships. I'm also having the door panels embroidered with zoom-zoom in black. Will post pics when I have them installed. How much did you pay to have them installed?

Ebay is the best place to find them and sometimes at really good deals. Theres just one link

Originally I had black cloth on the seats and door inserts.

The seatbelt pads I got at a local shop... he had both the new and old logos
