PIAA fog light button

Has anyone installed the PIAA foglights? What did you guys do with the button that comes with the kit? Send pics for visual aid. I can't figure out how to put it into the car and make it look nice.

i have piaa's but i didnt' use the button. i soldered the new foglights to the stock foglight wiring harnesses and just used all of teh stock wiring. if i were you, i would put it right next to where the foglight dimmer is. there is a place where you can install an extra button there. it looks like mazda's intent was to make a place for an extra button to be installed here.

wow, deja vu!

I would definitely use the stock wiring harness. It's a pain in the *** to use the PIAA stuff!

no original fog lights

the thing is, I had no OEM fog lights. I bought the lx model without the fogs and now I have the wings west kit so I put the new fogs in with their wiring harness. There was no button for the fog next to the dimmer switch(i have two empty instead of one). So I have to figure out a way to make it look nice.

I don't know if you have the same panel as the P5, but you might be able to get an OEM foglight switch. Either from the dealer, or someone that isn't using it anymore, ....

Amityville (for now). I grew up in Bay Shore, and I've lived in Lindenhurst and West Islip at times.

I'm sick of the traffic and cost of living here - might be moving to Arizona soon!
