PIAA 520 Install Questions

hey guys, i just got my piaa's and i have some questions about the install. I've already done a search but i didn't find any useful information. I've read that its pretty easy and by looking at it, it doesn't seem too bad.

Problem: do you remove the big bolt behind the fogs or the two side nuts holding the fogs? the smaller ones are the ones that you untighten to adjust the aim, right? i tried moving both but they're on pretty tight and i don't want to break anything. when i tug, the plastic flexes around the fog. any suggestions?

Also, do i really need to use the PIAA harness? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Just remove the big nut behind the fog lamp. It is pretty tight. I do not know what other people had to do, but I had to cut a strip out of the mounting bracket so the PIAA could bolt-on and still be aligned. Then I cut the wiring of the factory fog lamp and soldered to the PIAAs so it will clip in the factory plug. The difference in brightness is amazing.
