that's not just chalk? get a little brush and some simple green and try to scrub it off.

Westley's bleach white and a scrub brush will nip that in the bud. You can buy it a your local grocery store in the car section. Don't be fooled by the bleach in the name. This works great for graese in seats and carpets too.

which dealership did you go to?? I personally hate Bank Street.. bunch of incompetent people! I went there once for maintenance and when I picked it up, they told me that one of my hub caps fell off.. yeah right!! The guy probably drove the crap out of it!!!

I will never go there again! I bought my car in Hawksbury instead.. better deals!!

Take your car back to the dealer that did that.....go STRAIGHT to the service manager.....tell him you are disatisfied with the service....tell him EXACTLY why you are unhappy....TELL him that the tires were NOT marked up when you brought them there...and YOU want THEM to correct the situation....if you handle it with a little diplomacy and don't fly off the handle and get loud...you may get a complete detail out of it.....if the service manager is worth his salt anyway....if not...and he isn't willing to recitify the situation....leave the service area...and seek out the Dealership HMFIC (just in case that is an unfamiliar term to you it stands for Head M.F. In Charge, pretty sure you can figure out what MF stands for!) :{D

THAT is what I would do if I were in YOUR shoes.

ya thats where i bought my car, the mecanics in the service department always seem pissed off about something every time i go there, i might just use the one on carling

BTW i did get the marks off my tires, bought some tire cleaner from canadian tire, had to do alot of scrubing though

It was probably grease pencil, which takes some work to rub off, not chalk. It's normal for them to write on the tire which position on the car it came off of--that's the way it should be. However, they'd normally mark it on the inside so you can't see it. A bit sloppy of them to do it the way they did on yours.
