Question P5 grill removal?

is the only way to get the grill off of a P5 by pulling the whole frunt fascia on the car, or can it be removed individually without yanking other stuff?

I need to get at the horn (that sucker is outta there!) and want to minimize possible damage from my clumsy attempts at getting the plastic bits off...

thanks!

you can take the grill of without removing the bumper. Just take the screws off of the grill (They will be exposed when you open the hood) and pull it up. There are snaps on it as well. It will take about 3-5 mins for you to figure it out and remove it. Easy job. Had mine off too!!

I replaced my horn this weekend with a FIAMM Freeway Blaster Horn. Much louder . Anyway, I removed the whole front tbumper to get at it. Yes two of the screws are visible when you open the hood and you have to remove two snap type clips. No problems. But the bottom of the grill is attached pretty securely. I started to take it off without removing the bumper and had a heck of a time. I was afraid of damaging the grill so I took off the bumper. When I did, I saw why I was having such a hard time. The clips are pretty securely in there so if I had continued to pull I think I would have broken something. Now that I know how to do it, it would take no time next time .

got the grill off (thanks for the pointers) and put my FIAMM replacements in... I kind of like them, but I think that I will move up to the next step in the line (the freeway blasters) as soon as I figure out where to mount them on the car.... but for the moment at least having the two tones is better than just the high tone.
