APC sucks but if i bought any taillights from them........if they even fit properly.....i would seal it with silicone just in case. I've seen lots of hondas here with condensation inside their APC tails and clear corners. Those look nice tho whether they're Altezzas Euros
Custom who cares what you call em they're nice.

I know this has been said, but yes I do like them a lot. They have that clean look versus the silver backed altezzas I currently have. Guess I might also have to get myself a new Christmas present. But with the time it takes APC to ship things it will be a present for next christmas.

Wow, those are the first aftermarket tails for the Pro I actually think look nice. They need to make smoked ones now, like they do for the VW Jetta/GTI.

Thumbs up Altezzas!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH TWEEAKS!!! MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THE WITH SILICONE, OR YOU WILL HAVE CONDENSATION!!! ALSO, IF YOU BUY THE CARBON FIBER ONES...MAKE SURE THAT THE CARBON FIBER IS NOT CHIPPING OFF. THIS IS ONE THING THAT HAS REALLY TICKED ME OFF WITH APC!!! I won't complain much, at least not to the place where I bought them...(directpart.com) because they were on backorder and they shipped them to me with NO shipping charge to PR!!! But I plan on complaing to APC because the carbon fiber is CHIPPING OFF!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!

FYI:
Lights needs vents! If you make them airtight with silicone, you WILL get condensation.

If you want to seal it, you need to seal the lights in the driest weather or in some sort of a vacuum to prevent condensation.

Even if it's perfectly sealed, once you change your bulbs, all the moisture in the air (unless you live in a desert) will enter the lens and you will seal it in. Then when colder weather comes, you WILL get condensation.

As you know condensation occurs when warmer humid air comes in contact with a colder surface (cold Coke can on a humid Summer day). Also, warmer air can hold more water molecules than colder air.

This is why non-sealed lamp assemblies now all have vents to equalize the air inside and outside the lens chamber. I believe the vents are designed to expel the warm air heated by the lights.

it would be cheaper to buy the Japanese red taillight tint and spray the whole light. $19.95 + tax......

Altezza's

I do agree dynamho, lights do need vents, but I did not seal the lights to the car...I just sealed around the outer shell of the plastic, (where the clear plastic covers the lenses). That is it...just to keep any extra water out!!!

Currently, APC is selling four different types of tail lights for the protege.

where can I find those exact lights? they look great on the silver car.

about a week ago, i got my carbon fiber tailights installed at HP racing. i really love 'em. i like them way better than the chrome altezzas. i also had them put hyperwhite turn signals and hyperwhite reverse lights......really nice.....
