newbie installing stereo on 1st gen

I took out the factory on my 91 dx, as it won't start since the main fuse blew. Unfortunately the stereo I purchased has male wiring outputs, and i don't have a wiring diagram or color code. If I purchase a harness, will it include a diagram on where to put the wires, or should i just purchase a wiring diagram and connect the wiring with clips. I've never installed a stereo, but I'd like to do this myself as it doesn't seem like it would be a hard task if I had the right info. Also where should I get the harness if it is avail? thanks in advance.

Get the correct wiring harness for the car. That will clip to the stock harness. the aftermarket radio you purchased will have its own harness and you just need to use crimp butt connectors to fasten the 2 harness together. Each harness will have identical wire colors so its kind of a no brainer.
