Need suggestions for hood and front bumper replacement
I managed to rear end a car today and thought i'd make the best of a crappy situation. The front bumper is toast and my hood folded up like a piece of paper. The engine sounds fine and nothing seems to be leaking(fingers still crossed). I was wondering if ya'll could give me some suggestions. Any cool CF hoods out? What about badass front bumpers?

Seems like I remember someone else needing a new hood & saying something like 500.00 for a hood. But, I dont know of how you would find out how much until the dealer opens tomorrow. Here is a link to the Fiber Images hoods that I got them to do. They should be ready to ship next week (these are brand new, noone has them) Carbon Fiber Hoods

They are nice looking, especially if you're into that sort of thing.
I'd worry myself to death about a CF hood though. I'm familiar with the technology, as much CF is used in sailboating.
CF is really strong especially to a frontal impact - No chance it could crumple up as the stock hood is designed to do in a frontal impact. I'm afraid that it wouldn't take too much to force the CF hood, still in one piece, through the windshield in a frontal crash. No airbag could protect you from that sucker if it ever did decide to "come on in" and keep you company
