Need suggestions for hood and front bumper replacement

I managed to rear end a car today and thought i'd make the best of a crappy situation. The front bumper is toast and my hood folded up like a piece of paper. The engine sounds fine and nothing seems to be leaking(fingers still crossed). I was wondering if ya'll could give me some suggestions. Any cool CF hoods out? What about badass front bumpers?

No bumpers out yet. Wings West's should be out within a month.

Fiber Images has an awesome quality carbon fiber hood out.

Do a search to find out more.

Seems like I remember someone else needing a new hood & saying something like 500.00 for a hood. But, I dont know of how you would find out how much until the dealer opens tomorrow. Here is a link to the Fiber Images hoods that I got them to do. They should be ready to ship next week (these are brand new, noone has them) Carbon Fiber Hoods

has some in stock now they are I think they are $575, but excellant quality.

They made the splitter for FOO's P5 and it works great.

They are nice looking, especially if you're into that sort of thing.

I'd worry myself to death about a CF hood though. I'm familiar with the technology, as much CF is used in sailboating.

CF is really strong especially to a frontal impact - No chance it could crumple up as the stock hood is designed to do in a frontal impact. I'm afraid that it wouldn't take too much to force the CF hood, still in one piece, through the windshield in a frontal crash. No airbag could protect you from that sucker if it ever did decide to "come on in" and keep you company

the body shop charged me $210 for the front bumper only. shouldn't your insurance cover most of the cost? (i.e $500 deductable?)

I dont see DGM having anything for the Protege. Seems like they are mostly trucks. But, maybe they just dont have it on the site.

Dg Motorsports definately has them.

My store has sold 2 of them. Also they did a kevlar hood for mazda and are working on a ram air hood for the protege as well.

Actually that's true.... hmmm now that I think about it, at which level would the hood most likely enter the cabin? Damn, dude, think about this, but if you get it, hope that it slides up and over the roof hehe
