need some door clips?? help

need some door clips?? help

well i have a sedan and am about to install 6.5"s in the back doors and remove my 6x9s well since my car doesnt have rear door speakers it does not have those little plastic clamps that clip into the door where the speakers mount so i can put scews in there are just three square holes i would think there are replacements availible kinda hard to explain but i think P5 owners know what im talking about the threaded plastic pieces thanks and sorry for the long post.

Rob I know exactly what you are talking about.....and if you have a dealer close...that is where I would go first....then if you strik out there....go to a hardware store.....they have ROUND plastic inserts that you would NORMALLY drill a hole in masonary (brick/concrete/mortor) and insert it...then put screws into them....just get some that are as round as the hole is square and push them in snug.....that will work too.

Some discount auot parts stores will carry a variety of screws, clips, clamps, etc. for interior use in various cars. Maybe like a Pep Boys or something like that. I go to a place here called bumper to bumper for stuf like that, but it's a Canada-only chain I think.

Also, if it costs like 6 bucks to make yourself happy with your install job, won't that be worth it in the long run?
