Need help with Viper 600ESP...

I just had a 600ESP put in my P5. The shop that did it didn't do the best (cleanest) job, and on top of that, they really didn't mount the shock sensor approriately, according the install manual off the DEI website.

Anyway, I'm cleaning it up this weekend and I wanted to know if any experts out there had a good suggestion for where and how to mount the shock sensor. Should I use velcro or double-sided tape? Which is best? And where's the best place to mount it under the driver side dash? Thanks!

The steering collum is a good place, use a strong zip tie. If there are to many moving parts (nowadays more and more collums have exposed moving parts) then zip tie it to an under dash frame peice, an air vent or a big wire loom.

The DEI sensor needs only VERY small tweeks when adjusting for good coverage. It's hard to get even coverage, but try to get it set so that it atleast has a warn away response on the small rear door vent windows, as these are a commun break-in point.

Good choice of alarm though If you need more help, email me or just post it here.
