Need help

I want to upgrade my speakers , but im not a big car audio kind of person. I found a good deal on this
Jensen CV650 Component Speaker System (regular $100 bucks, $25 bucks). Ive never had a component speaker system in any of my cars before, but I have installed speakers before. How would I install these speakers in the P5 as far as wiring goes? I would like to keep the stock HU, since I have the 6disc changer (which I love). If anyone can point me to some details on this, or explain to me the basics, I would greatly appreciated it.

Also, if you think these speakers wont upgrade my sound much from the stock speakers, please tell me your opinions on that also. Keep in mind, I just want "better" speakers than the stock-paper speakers. Thanks

REVIEW:
These speakers by Jensen are truly unique. They function in two completely different ways: as a set of two-way component speakers or normal coaxials. The CV650s are a revolutionary concept. What makes them so functional is the detachable tweeters that can be mounted separately from the woofer cone. These speakers provide flexibility for growing a system. Alternatively, they are a great investment if you are planning to buy a new car in the not-so-distant future, by providing you with installation flexibility to meet your current needs and those of the yet-unknown vehicle. The poly woofer cone gives low, solid bass waves, while the dome tweeter's distortion-free highs are music to the discerning ear. These unique and excellent-sounding speakers deserve a close look from budget-minded shoppers.

well...... i can't speak for the jensens but when i put in my kenwood speakers before i changed my deck out, i noticed a pretty big difference. much crisper cleaner sounding. sounded good with the factory decks power too. should be able to find some on ebay for far less than retail.

usually people buy an amp to power component speakers too because they require more power.

MnkyBoy....as far as putting new speakers in your doors....here is the big thing to watch for...the DEPTH of the speakers...that is where everyone that I know of that has had trouble has gotten into trouble...they got speakers that were too deep. something to think about...

sorry...I don't know the depth of the stock speakers...or what limit you can go to with out causing interference with the window.....

per mazda:

2.5" front
2.0" rear

but i think the rear is a bit forgiving as i fit my spkrs back there with no problem (little over 2" deep).
