Nice clean look & the amp matches well with the car exterior color.

How does it sound? Most prefab bp boxes suck (I had one). That may not be the case with you I hope. Looks nice though.

Yeah I was skeptical of it at first too when thinking about getting it. But I decided to try it and I think it sounds great and I love how well it goes with the trunk area and I am very surprised on how clean it did make it look.

....I have been using a q-logic BP box for the past couple of years and I think it sounds great with the low frequencies. I cut the length of the port tubes according to the subs specs and the area in the chambers fit according to the sub (actually, rockford does not say to use the punch Z in in a BP box). Mine sounds pretty good I have been told. I have heard some subs in a BP box that have sounded terrible, but they must have done someting wrong when installing it (port length) or the sub was shot??????

Jason seems to be happy with his like I am with mine.

Here is a pic of my BP box in my trunk with the amp on the left of it. I have it so I can take the box out in a flash so I can have space to pack things in my trunk. The box is 16 x 16 x 16.

No thats a 12" sub. And yeah it leaves a lot of room in the trunk too. Not sure what the size specs on the box are but very happy with how much room it takes up. Plus the sound is just right.

Real Estate is a must for Protege owners. Though, I am still wanting a bigger box for a ported design. I may have to do what I did in my old Eclipse, put the groceries on the back seat! The good thing about the old Eclipses is that the sofa back seats were like bucket seats so they slid down nicely. Nothing like a gallon of milk flying up front when you slam on the brakes

Do you notice a better difference with it turned up that way or if it is pointing out of the trunk like I have it?

I have tried all of the ways and find this way the best (the port holes facing towards the front of the car. When I had my sedan, I had to use dyna-mat in the trunk to keep the plastic part from rattling behind the rear seats. The trunk lid in the pr5 does not rattle. When I have the rear seats down, (in both cars) there is such an increase in the bass although it is still good when the seats are up like I always have them.

Cool I guess I will just have to experiment with it. I might have to get one of those dynamats for mine cause it does rattle a little bit. Again something I will have to experiment with.
