My first sub!

So whaddya think about my very first sub? I've never done this before so I didn't want to go crazy and wind-up with something I didn't like. Everyone has to start somewhere right? I actually wanted to be able to use my trunk so I decided to go with the 10" JL Powerwedge. As you can see in the pic I'm able to move it around so I can fold down both of my rearseats. The amp is a 120w JL e1200 monoblock. Everything else audio-wise is still stock, but who knows how long that'll last?

not bad.. should provide for good bass.. depending on what kind of music you're into and how addictive the concept of LOUD gets to you. all in all, i'd say you made out pretty wel, looks like a clean, flexible install.. also, is that a w0 series sub?

Thanks for the friendly support! Good eye as well. That is a W0 sub, 10W0-4 to be precise. All of JL's Powerwedge's come with W0's. It definitely does it's job and because of it I'm starting to get the "audio itch"! I'm already looking at a new head unit, but unfortunately I have to curb the spending for right now. Someday though.....

meh, if you're smart about it, you can swing an alpine head unit, 4 alpine type-s surround speakers and a decent 4 channel amp for under 500, or a v-drive series alpine headunit and 4 type s alpine speakers for under 400. i mean a head unit is a NICE step up from what you typically get from the factory . honestly, i shy away from some JL components strictly because of the price you have to pay. good score though
