Mufflers

hey, I'm lookin to get a new muffler for my 2000 Mazda Protege touring edition.
Please give me some input on the following:
1. Universal muffler- Miata, 626, Protege, RX7 #F012 Made by Makato Auto Trends
2. Universal muffler- Miata, 626, Protege, RX7 #3089 Made by Makato Auto Trends
3. N1 stlye titantium tip muffler- Mazda Protege 323 626 929
4. Titanium muffler- N1 Protege RX-7, RX7 MX3 Made by Racing city
5. Universal muffler- Miata, 626, Protege, RX7 #1015 Made by Makato Auto Trends
6. Apexi N1 carbon muffler mazda MX6 MX-6 Protege MX3 626 made by Newtechzone

Yeah I wouldnt recommend ebay , and i didnt know mazda made racing mufflers....??

They make axelback exhausts, aka just the muffler (in all truth they are made by bosal).
If your looking to go custom tubbing though I would recomend a mangaflow or something like that, has a nice sporty exhaust sound.

titanium mufflers

Do know Titanium mufflers cannot be welded!!!!

So, they stay with the exhaust with a metal brace which for my taste is very very lame even if they look cool.


I have bought on Ebay and as long as you pay with PayPal and check the record of the seller on Ebay feedback and with PayPal accounts then you are good to go. Just do your homework. You could be amazed with all the goodies found on Ebay, I bought a pair of adjustable cam gears with 5 bolt pattern for $180 w/ shipping, OBX style!!!

Magnaflow are kinda soundy and too much cruisin dbs for me. Also, If your car just has headers and the basic bolt ons DO NOT go over 2" on a customized exhaust.
