Lightbulb METALCAST paint?

Has anyone used Duplicolor's metalcast paint? I found 3 posts on painting calipers with it, but I wanted to do my valve cover with it. I think a yellow anodized v/c would be the ****! The duplicolor page says it's good for high heat, and they list v/c on the application list. I just wanted to know if anyone had played with this before I screw up my new P5.

If it works for calipers, I don't see why it wouldn't work for your valve-cover. Plus, they show it on an exhuast pipe...It says 500 degrees F; hmmm...I went for the Duplicolor High Heat 1200 degree stuff for my brakes, but it's not metalic like Metalcast......So there you have it, I'm no help at all.

I used some metalcast paint for my fuse box lid, LMAO. I was bored one day and had the paint sitting around so "what the hell".

Looks ghetto, but I want to paint the valve cover the same color. Trying to get a silver/red theme going on but it's not working too well right now..

I have pics at webpage

painted value cover base coat
and heat shield-spark plug mount-engine hooks blue

dont do heat shield though.....heat caused blue to fade to green
now turning black.....probably strip it and go with base coat only
