Talking mazdaspeed badge

I like it and get a lot of complements on it , and it also seems to set of the back of the car as opposed to having the flame emblem back there ...

Awesome. I know I already told you this. Bruce, your car kicked *** at Carlisle. It really looks like a totally different image on the car with that badge. Once I get my ride fast enough, I will do the same. I wont put it on, and have nothing to show for.

you can get it from www.corksport.com , when I do my custom front grill there will be one in the front also ...
I just like how adding a stylish badge to a car can make it look so nice,... I am getting compliments on it from all my friends ...
I am not really into all the stickers and graphics and crap , I just like things that make a difference and make your car look a lot better without being to flashy

that would replace the flying M on the back really nicely....Bruce...just how big is that badge? and do you know if it is big enough to cover the holes that the flying M would/will leave if you remove it from the back?

That is all fine and good that you mount the NEW one that way....but it would still need to COVER the holes....that is MY concern.

I'm pretty sure the emblems on the rear of the P5 DO have pins that go into holes in the panels - they're really not "mounting holes", they are just for alignment at the factory, so you don't get any crooked badges.

I know the "Protege5" emblem has pins - but I never looked at the "M".

Question

Does Corksport still have these in stock? Heck I will do the experiment to see if it will cover the pin holes, but I need to get one first!
It should be a nice match to the familia sport 20 badge and the Mazdaspeed badge I have used to replace the standard protege and mazda emblems.
So let me know a source, and I will try it out!!

That’s an Efini MAZDASPEED emblem they were used on rotary RX-7's. Someone had they for sell on Ebay a few weeks ago, I thought about getting some but I found out about the RX-7 side of the story or I would have bought them

Yeah - I guess it is shaped like the rotor from the RX-7 (and now the RX-8) engines.

Cool badge, though. I'd consider one anyway. At least we're not a Honda board where everyone wants an "Si" sticker or an Acura site with all the fake "Type-R" crap......

Why can't anyone make a colored or carbon fiber Mazda symbol like this:

where my diamond badge was , is where the mazdaspeed logo now resides, the 2 holes are behind the badge and you can't see them at all ,,... It looks really tight and it is mounted by a oval double sided stick tape
