makin my own grill

hey wasssup peeps. man ive been lookin around and people have this tight lookin custom grills. man how do u guys make it? im thinkin of makin a grill of my own. What do i need? or do u guys jsut buy it off from somewhere? let me know guys.

SInce you have the 2000 model you can use the gutter guards from Home Depot or Lowes. They come in 3 foot sections. i have seen both the upper and lower ones done and it looks great. I painted mine because the emblem is build in to the middle of the grill. As for the lower grill, it was a few inches short, otherwise it would have looked cool, so I ended up removing it and spray painting chrome paint on top. There is a How To section either here or www.msprotege.com on how to remove the grills (it's different from the 2001 and up which are easy to do). Since your car is white, you could either leave it chrome or paint the inserts white after using primer first.
