Looking to switch out my 2 front speakers

ive been trying to read some previous threads about choice of speakers but im getting a lil intimidated and confused. My current set is by CDT, i forgot which model CDT it is but i remember i got them on sale because of the messed up paint color that resulted a while back. The reason why im looking for a change is because the tweeter is too bright for my liking. with the music i listen to (punk, rock, hardcore) it seems to bring out the worse in the tweeter. I cant stand to listen to my favorite band thrice, that how bad it is. Im looking to spend no more than $350 MAYBE $400 and im looking for a clear sound but not loud or bright at all. Id also like to get some pretty good bass cause id rather hear the bass from inside the car rather from my subs in the trunk. im running an eclipse amp that puts out 50 continueous wattage and my back ledge speakers are the boston acoustic NX's. also, what can i add to my current setup that can help out my sound? meaning, i was reading about a "line driver" before but wasnt quite sure what that deals with. just anything that i can add to my system thatll let me get more clarity would be appriciated (adjusting things, adding equipment.) im just an average joe when it comes to these things, i know somethings but not alot. thanks!

p.s. : im also pretty **** about my sound. when my sound doesnt sound right at a point (whether my ears are hearing the sound differently or the loudness of my car mixes with the sound) i kinda freak out. i spend good money on a system and i want it to be perfect, so if that helps any of u guys out lol.

I put polk-audio componets in the front and it made a big difference. Better bass response with more mid-range and all around better sound.

You need 6.5" COMPONENT SPEAKER SYSTEM. Here is a link to the ones I'm getting this weekend.

I would even do them in the doors if you have the money and then just some cheap 6x9s in the back. I would get a seperate amp for these.

Of course these are better but they are more too!

This amp is just right for a set of 4 speakers.

yea, i did the same thing in the beginning. you NEED to get a set of components or atleast a decent pair of non-stock speakers. i learned that the hard way by getting subs instead of speakers first. just get some speakers and ull be set. if ur as paranoid as me then u should look at some components.

he offered Rockford Fosgate RFX9000 and i think it's not bad cause i read a lot about it. . . in the feedback the guys connected to subs and amplifier and it sounds great. . . just remembered when i connected my amp . . . after this i realized the sound . . . if u accelerate the sound it more louder especially in the night when the headlight are on. . .
so what about that deck and my noise problem?

Soft dome tweeters (separates). Boston Accoustic is accurate without sounding harsh.

Need to spend the do-re-mi but it is well worth it.

And bring your CD to the store. It is harder to get an accurate sound picture because a car interior is all hard surfaces and the showroom is all carpet...

You really need a deck. One that has the sub contoles. If you can get one with high and low pass filters also. I love Bostin A's but there so expencive. The Infinities I have (IMO) are great. They don't cost that much but you get great sound. I had all Alpine at first and I have to say they suck. And they were not the cheap ones!

Watch out for Ultimate Electronics, they're closing all the Texas stores. Now I have to take all my stuff back and start over!
