Looking to make custom interior dash kit

I'm looking to make my own custom dash kit, maybe from home depot supplies. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it. I like the 3$ rain guard mesh grill and I am trying to duplicate that on the dash kit.

No not out of rain guard. I want to take something like making a custom dash kit out of miscellaneous supplies at home depot. Not rain guard. The rain guard is for the grill. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestion of what materials I might use, and any cool ideas.

If you are real good with a skillsaw or bandsaw you could by some thin brushed sheet aluminum, that would make some cool inserts for guages, console, and window controls,If you have power windows. It would probably attach pretty easy with some 3m stuff

A dash kit made out of of Home Depot supplies...hmm...how about a duct tape dash kit? , there are many skilled duct tapers here, myself included. j/k

I'd say go for it, it's worth the shot. If it looks like crap youll only lose like 30 bucks.

-*My 400th post, woohoooo!!!

As ghetto as it sounds, I think if I put the time in and buy the right material, it will look half decent. You will see. Pictures will be posted if I try to attemp this feet. I'm surprised no one else has tried this.

Hi! I've done alot to my car, body-kits, grills, leather-wrap, including real aluminium interior. If you like, drop me your e-mail and I'll send some pictures to you. Home-Depot and canadian-Tire are my shopping places. I have post pictures and 'how to' many months ago. My computer recently blew up, litterly, that's why I haven't been on here for a while.

Hmmm, instead of e-mailing to numbers of people, I'll try to post them up in the next couple of days, once I gathered up my files. Sorry for the wait.
