Lightbulb Lens Black Out??

Ive been thinking about blacking out my side-bumper markers on my MP5. I found a product called "VHT Nite-Shades/Lens Black Out" and was wondering if this product is any good? Since there isnt a factory clear bumper marker peice out yet i figured i would do this to cover up the orange reflector. If anyone has any advice or ideas on this product or knows any other products please let me know. And can this VHT be bought at regular auto stores like Autozone or Pep Boys? I found it on summit racing website but i would rather not order if i can buy in a store...Thanx..Peace

If you're looking for the clear bumper lenses, there are a couple of posts where people are using ones from an RX7. I've even seen a post about using APC clear bumper lenses from a Celica.

Yeah but there's a lil gap from the Clear lense from a Celica.

I went to our local Autozone and Pepboys and none of them carry VHT. Might wanna go online to order them.

I have used the svt night shades. I have the can at home. I got it from a speed shop. I like it. I did it first on stick on plastic to get an idea of what it would look like. I did that to both of them then I found a local police officer and asked if this is ok, he said I shold get briter blubs, but its fine. If you need a part number I will post it next time I am on line

if oyu want red, i heard that testors model paint in transparent candy apple red is a good match for the stock tail light red.

or go to your local 'rice' shop. its called 'Taillight Tint'. for about 30 bucks, you get a can that will do about 2-3 sets of taillights, or whatever else you may want to tint.
