i would imagine something flew into it.. maybe hauling a ladder or something.. i dunno... its easy to crack plastic screens..

As pr5owner has stated a new HU. Their is no real way that a dealer can fix this besides replacing the whole unit.

yeah, and id expect the dealer to charge you out the whoha for a new stock deck (ive heard 500 dollars)..... just get a aftermarket, say a pioneer or something.

maybe someone that has taken the stock unit out in search of an upgrade might be willing to sell you theirs at a reasonable price (sorry, mine's already gone)... just an idea... post something in the sales/wanted thread if you decide you want the stock setup.

take a look on EBAY....there have been some sold there....
