Okay - NEEDLES!!!! How did you get them off or deal with getting around them??????

Also - would you be willing to inspect your stock gauge faces, and see if the amber tinting on the backside can be peeled away?

Is it possible to remove the stock gauge faces and re-install them without destroying them?

Need anyone who's installed them before

I used to have the indiglo gauges in my car. Unfortunately the fuel needle broke, so I used it for a little bit, but now I replaced the gauge cluster. I want the indiglos back, but i dont want to go through that process again. Like what i mean by that is, my friend had to keep taking out the needle and putting it back in to make sure that it read right. I read about the cutting procedure, but I dont know if that will ruin anything if i cut it too short. All the wiring is done and easy, i'm just worried about putting the indiglo's back on. Anyone who has experience with this, knows how to do this or has had it done please respond. Thanks.

well, i might have found a solution to the cutting / needle removal conundrum. take a look at these two ebay auctions, and tell me if you notice what i noticed:

auction 1

auction 2

(here's a hint: in the first auction, the needle holes look quite a bit bigger)

Nik, if you look at Jaisai's picture again, he does have the new kind with the bigger holes. He still had to cut them though, so I guess they still weren't big enough.

ya. the hoel were still too small. i am thinking if you take a dremel tool and enlarge the hoels u might be fine. but no one has tried that yet.
