Smile Intake Filter Adapter

On ebay they have intake filter adapters, and I was just wondering if they work? and if so does it do anything for the car?
Thanks
Kelly

I do not know what the adapter is for, but the filters are universal. For example, on my car(2nd gen), the filter fit right on the MAF, and I did not need the adapter at all. It might be different for other generations.

for the 1st gens, you need an adaptor. this allows for you to install a cone filter instead of using the stock crap box. you can find the adptor and filter kits on Ebay for about $20US.

hope that helps.

be carefull of the cheapies on ebay though, i've seen some and they not only look like they were made by blind men, but neither fit very well either. And you need a good seal!
