No, it had a good coat of wax on it from the dealer. And during the first month, I probably waxed it 5 times (first-ever new car, you know). Nothing but the sprayed-on "wax" from the carwash over the winter, but still...

I second the 3M coat. It warranteed for life too....You aint seen a bad winter until youve been to Edmonton.
