motorhead16v4 is on a distinguished road

I need a tach

Anyone know where the tachometer hookup point is on the 2002 Protege? My DX doesn't have one but I need one.

I believe even though it doesn't have one they harness still has the plug for it behind the gauge cluster. There was a post about this somewhere I can't remember where though try using the search on it you might come up with something. If not just go to Mazda and they might be able to get you a wiring diagram.

TACHOMETER
purple/white
diagnostic connector

The diagnostic connector is in driver side rear corner of the engine
compartment. Can also find tach in pin 48 of the ECM.
